Miles Millet – Outdoorsman, Ice Fisherman, and Oxford Hills’ Official Enforcer
Miles Millet doesn’t just like the outdoors—he lives it, in all four seasons. When the leaves are falling, he’s deep in the woods hunting deer. When winter rolls in, you’ll find him on a frozen lake, hunkered down in his ice fishing hut, waiting for the big one (or at least avoiding civilization for a few hours).
But when he’s not chasing deer or fish, he’s surrounded by something even more wild—puppies. Yes, you read that right. Miles spends his spare time in the garage with a pack of Labrador puppies, which is quite the contrast to his otherwise “tough guy” persona. His pride and joy? A fox red male Lab named Smitty, who probably gets treated better than most humans.
Miles keeps things simple: no bright colors, no nonsense. You’ll always find him in black because, as the official enforcer of Oxford Hills, he takes his job (and his wardrobe) very seriously. What does that title actually mean? No one really knows, but let’s just say if you cross him, you might find a deer stand mysteriously relocated or your fishing spot suddenly “occupied.”
